In 1971 when The Attic was opened, custom picture framing was the main service provided. Today The Attic continues to take pride in offering custom framing with its third generation commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and service. We are a full service shop offering a quality selection of frame moldings, mat cutting, mounting, conservation framing, object framing, needle work and cross stitch. Along with our framing services we have a large selection of decorative poster art and collectible prints.
We do not offer online framing services, only in store consultations. Thank you!

Paul Sawyier is a famous Frankfort, Kentucky artist who is well known for his incredible watercolor scenes of the Frankfort area and of life along the Kentucky River. He was influenced to become an "American Impressionist" at the 1893 Worlds Fair in Chicago.
Since 1971 we have been a dealer of Paul Sawyier prints.
The Federal Duck Stamp Program was started in 1934 as way to raise funds to preserve wetland habitats. The program has become a classic American art form. Every year a new print and stamp are released and have become a highly coveted art collectible.
